DEMCO presents a practical, hands-on seminar where participants learn and practice basic repairs for both hard and softbound books. Emphasis is placed on becoming familiar with techniques and materials for economical in-house repair of materials that must be available for frequent use. Additionally, protective measures which will extend the life of new materials will be demonstrated and discussed.
This workshop is useful for anyone involved in repair of library materials. Participants will gain skills that can be shared with staff or volunteers.
