SESSION DESCRIPTION
Lifelong learners may very well start with loving their school library. Do you need fresh ideas for drawing students to the library, program promotion, teacher collaboration? This session will also present strategies to spark research questions, bring families together through a reading celebration, and excite students about both fiction and non-fiction through book talks and an intriguing “Did You Know?” Using best practices, as well as new ideas, you can, even with a limited budget, excite students, parents, and staff while making your library the heart of your school—where learning takes place and the school community loves to come.
