The library needs to be the place where students can find relevant, appropriate, and compelling resources that are tied in with their classroom curriculum. Come to this presentation to see how one district has created online “LibGuides” (library guides) which put great resources in one handy spot and make its Teacher Librarians *the* people that classroom teachers will turn tofor help with curricular links. We will discuss Elementary School Resources, 4th Grade Social Studies Resources, 5th Grade Social Studies Resources, Science Resources, Math Resources, And… Digital Safety Resources (linked to the Broadband Improvement Act). Best of all, the LibGuides are linked to the Model School Library Standards!
