SESSION DESCRIPTION
Invigorate your library’s programming by running a comic book discussion group! We will introduce you to the California Center for the Book’s Book-Club-in-a-Box program, which provides you with free books and promotional materials. Running this club is fun and easy. We will warn you about potential pitfalls and share some tips. Attendees will leave with a wealth of suggestions for comic titles, discussion questions, and activities to engage comic-loving teens and draw them into the conversation. Create a nexus of nerd culture in your own library!
